Christmas Card Bowls

I am always envious of other bloggers who talk about their great flea markets. We don't have any around here except for a fairly new one about 10 miles from me. There aren't that many vendors yet and most of the stuff there is tools and toys, etc. I try to frequent it though because well ..... you know....you just never know what you might find. I set out yesterday with an agenda in mind. I was looking for something in particular. But you know how that goes....didn't find what I was looking for but I did find the cutest vintage Christmas card bowl or basket. Remember these? I love it and it's big enough to put your holiday cards in. It was kind of strange because everything I found had to do with the holidays. But it was great fun and I got some fun vintage goodies. Coming to a website near you.....mine! :))

I remember those, wouldn't these be pretty in shabby pinks? Start looking for some old vintage cards to sew together with aqua and pink yarns Lynn and you might just have a brand new line of vintage item to offer on your site.

LOL...I love to see things like that. My Aunt Jo and her church ladies made those too. They were all very crafty.

It's the 'C' word...Christmas! Just approaching too fast, don't you think? I love the find, I think these are the cutiest bowls, you don't see too many these days.
Happy Hunting! I must try to get out to do a little hunting myself at some of the local consignment and antique shops.

What a fun find! I agree with Sharon that you should make some in pinks to sell...bet everyone would snatch them up!
