Fun Times

We had such a fun and relaxing time on vacation. Fishing, reading, swimming, antiqueing, sunset pontoon lake rides, eating, eating, eating. Did I mention eating? LOL I tried all kinds of Wisconsin cheeses and loved them all and brought home some wild rice and dried cranberries grown there. Everyday we went to the best little bakery in the little town near where we stayed and bought the most delicious cinnamon buns. One nite we went to a fish fry. The owner of the waterside restaurant was so friendly and made you feel like you were old friends. On my junking excursions I did find the prices to be higher than in the South but I found some wonderful textiles for you and came away with a wonderful new idea for my website. I will share that with you in the future. One little shop in the town of Hayward, called Antiquity Square, was a fun place to wander through....a whole house full of surprises in every room. I picked up the prettiest old seashell salt dishes perfect for the beach chic decor. I'll get those on my website, hopefully tomorrow. Another charming place was called Hoochie Mama's. She had a mixture of new and old. There we snagged a darling little hand painted roses lamp and a shabby white table for grand-daughter's room. And I just had to buy one of her t-shirts just because I loved the name so much. :))

Love the yellow chair turned planter! And the purple petunias add wow factor against the yellow!
