Lazy, Hazy Summer Days

So many of you have just sent your little ones off to school or will be the day after Labor Day. I have no babies to send off to school anymore but it still seems like the start of a new year. Instead of New Years I have always thought of the start of the new school year as the beginning of a new year. We still have three more weeks of summer left but Fall is in the air. My dogwoods are already showing tinges of red and the old walnut tree is losing it's leaves. I might mention too that that old walnut tree is loaded with fat green walnuts this year. Hope it doesn't mean a bad winter. But I digress....back to the regular post. I spent many late summer evenings lazing in the yellow twig chairs by the lake, enjoying the peace and tranquility. But I am looking forward to that cool, crisp autumn air, the trip to the pumpkin farm, brunswick stew and apple crisp. On another note don't forget the Make Mine Pink virtual tea party on September 10th. It's going to be so much fun and lots of eye candy. Everyone is invited and welcomed at my tea party. Grandmama will be setting out her best rose china plates to welcome her sweet new grandbaby to the world.

Comments: Ok - I'm inspired. Your boutique and blog sites are beautiful. It's a funny thing because I just had speakers installed on my computer last night. For some strange reason I've not had any sounds coming out of my computer for the past 2 years. When I turned on my computer this morning, I "heard" my computer come to life - not just watched it. I immediately went to your site because I had heard great things about it. What a delight. I was transported to a tranquil comfort zone while listening to your beautiful classical music floating out of my new little speakers. My eyes were treated to wonderful visuals. Your pictures are amazing particularly the lightening bolt. That was pretty incredible photography. I so enjoyed reading your stories too.
