Gratitude Gala

Today is Gratitude Day. Sweet Angie over at Scrappy Moments created this wonderful idea. She has just opened her new Etsy store. Check out her blog for a list of the bloggers participating and the wonderful items in her store. Today I'd like to share with you some photos of the beauty of the land in my backyard, especially this time of year. I am so grateful, lucky and blessed to have this. When I first started blogging, at the encouragement of one of my sweet boutique buyers, I thought who in the world would want to hear what I have to say. Well, to my surprise it seems like a lot of sweet people care. This wonderful and delightful community of ladies (and guys), who have the same things in common as I do, are amazing. I continue to be delighted by your sweet, funny, thought provoking comments and your Prayers. I cherish each and every one of you. The give-aways that folks are doing lately are so much fun and I would like to do one today in honor of gratitude day. I have put together a package of goodies made in Virginia (lol...that's where I live). Leave a comment on this post and I will put your name in the gratitude bowl for the drawing, to be held November 23rd, the day after Thanksgiving. I am grateful for each and every one of you. Hugs, Lynn

Gorgeous photos! How gracious of you to do a giveaway in gratitude for those who read your blog. I'm doing one on my breast cancer blog and I'm doing a pay-it-forward on my art blog. It seems to be this time of year and people are feeling generous and in the mood to give back.
There is such a joy in giving.

How fortunate you are to be able to see God's glory and majesty just by opening your eyes. Too many people have to look past the buildings and concrete just to see His sky. Do you ever get used to it and forget it's there? I bet not.

Lynn, You do live in a beautiful part of the world. Our daughter lives in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and we always enjoy visiting her - especially this time of the year. Our last visit included a short trip on Skyline Drive. The autumn colors were beautiful despite the dry weather. Thanx!!

Hi Lynn,

I always see your beautiful face while I'm jumping around in blogland. I decided to stop by and see what my Pink friend was up to. I love the tags you have posted here, just lovely. I can't wait for the holidays to come and go so I can actually sit and just play, play, play and create some tags of my own for my website. Haven't had the time while making chocolates.

xoxo
Cath
