Welcome to CedarHill.....our home in the country.
This sweet papier mache reindeer is very, very old. He used to be green but most all of the paint has flecked off and the poor thing is losing his antlers.
A moss covered present all wrapped up in red bows and poinsettias rests in a cherub iron compote.
Please come on in.
Vintage candlesticks and an old cherub filled with cedar.
Wall vases filled with more cedar and candy canes.
A little glitz tucked in the poinsettia.
Old red glass ornaments fill a glass compote.
Antique white tree decorated by the birds with gold leaves, tinsel, ribbons, ornaments and roses.
I love the simplicity of our Nativity scene. It's wrapped in a gold beaded scarf to represent the kings' gifts to the newborn child.
A large papier mache Santa nestles in a vintage tin frame.
This colorful tree in the kitchen boast all the kid's ornaments and memory ornaments while a fresh candy cane wreath hangs in the window.
On the old country table a little bare white branch tree stands in a nest filled with red eggs, while fat red birds roost in the branches.
Simple brown paper wrapped presents make a sweet backdrop for bows and other adornments.
A favorite is this fishing Santa I gave to my husband one year. He stands behind our Christmas bags we use instead of stockings.
I am so happy you came. Let me give you a warm hug before you go and a cup of spiced tea for the road. From here just go to Pea's Corner for a list of everyone joining in on this delightful virtual tour. I'm a little early with my tour. The weather is frightful and I am afraid we may lose electricity so I posted early. xoxo Lynn
