Pink Reindeer ???

LOL...No, I haven't been sipping the bubbly today. Last night I was watching Ms. Martha on T.V. She was showing how to make pop-up cards for Christmas. I had planned on going shopping for the perfect little card for my grand-daughter and thought hmmm....wonder if I can make that for her. So today I got down to brass tacks and look what I came up with. Miss Boo loves purple and pink so hence...the pink reindeer with purple antlers and googly eyes. I glittered part of the antlers for a snow effect and made glittered snowflakes from pink and purple printed paper. I think he's adorable and know she and her Mommy and Daddy will get a kick out of it when they open this special card. On the front of the card I placed a Santa taken from one of my old vintage post cards. If you want to try your hand at making one of these you can go to the Martha Stewart website under her Christmas crafts to get the reindeer pop-up template. This was so much fun! ~ Smiles ~ Lynn

Wow Lynn, that came out SO very cute! I'm afraid mine wouldn't impress anyone as I am truly lacking in the craft department...unless...hey, would a waded up piece of red paper possibly count as a Rudolf nose? Okay, I didn't think so but it was worth a shot ;)

lynn,
Cute card; I long for a granddaughter some day.

I watched M.S. today and a woman made the most awesome fudge coated homemade marshmallows. They looked sinfully delicious.

How stinkin' cute is that??? I love it. I can not craft nor can I interpret instructions. My comprehension has always been in issue for me. Can I come over and watch you make one? I can do something by watching someone else. If I have to read it and interpret it, forget it!

Julie
