Angels & Friends

I have been busy as a bee creating new things for the boutique this week as well as treasure hunting. I adore cherubs and found this vintage porcelain cherub recently. I get so excited when I find these particular winged cherubs because they are just so charming. This little doll baby has a headband of pink roses and holds three pink roses in her hands. And just look at those blue eyes and rosy cheeks. A collection of these is just exquisite. I like to call them angel babies.

I also finished this sweet fairy tale dress for someone's little princess. This one is perfect for Easter with it's hand embroidered bunny on the front. These dresses, made from pillowcases, old and new, are just so darn cute. I also love to embellish them with crochet flowers, old buttons, pretty ribbons and vintage hankies. Embroidered with a little girl's best friends....dollies and stuffed animals.

Angels and Friends could just as easily describe all the lovely bloggers who visit. Your funny stories, inspirationals, fabulous photos, wonderful recipes, humor and kindness mean so much to me. A big thank you to Brittany and Karen for giving me the You Make My Day Award. I am honored, thrilled and tickled pink.

Hi Lynn,
This little dress is amazing, and a very special heirloom piece I would say for the recipient.
I also LOVE your new cherub, I am also a Cherub collector and get excited too when I find one. I just purchased one out of stone for the garden but I am thinking I will keep in the house now :)

Lynn (great name huh?)
