A Wonderful Blog & Baby

I met the neatest lady recently. Her name is Alexa and her blog spot is here. We have so much in common. We're both fans of junkin' excursions and yard sales and think nothing of buying someone's else's stuff at rock bottom prices. We both love to create new things out of old found objects. I found out our backgrounds are quite similar too. Her blog is just delightful, fresh and funny. She has such a wonderful way with words not to mention she is quite talented. To quote her, "her inspiration for art comes from contradiction...rust and lace, pearls and wood and a pure affection for anything considered vintage." If you have the time....now I know you just have to take a peek...you won't regret it. I promise you smiles and thrown back head laughter. Scroll down and check out her Thurs. Jan 10th post about Bingo. Please tell her Lynn sent ya'.

Speaking of other people's stuff and vintage look at these adorable old wool felt baby shoes I found. They're moth eaten and worn and the shoelaces are shot and they are perfectly adorable. They have the teeniest tiniest little embroidery and French knots on the toes. Picture a pile of old books with these sitting on top of them. Awwww
