Sky Watch Friday

~ CLOUD SHADOWS ~

I captured this shot as I was flying over the MidWest, U.S.A. recently. I love how the shadow from the cloud is cast on the ground. For more SkyWatch Friday photos please g0 to Wigger's World for a complete list. Be sure to check back often as more people sign up. It's fun! Have a great weekend y'all. xo Lynn

I am never lucky enough to get above the clouds like this. I can imagine how beautiful some scenes are. This is a really nice photograph taken from way up there.

great one for SWF! When we realize how perfect everything is we will tilt our head back and laugh at the sky... mine's up too hope you can drop by.

Your picture brought to mind the first time I flew as a child. I was awed by the clouds, and told my mother that I felt close to God.

That looks like a nice cloud to float on for awhile. Beautiful.

Wonderful photograph. That big fluffy cloud looks so inviting.

Outstanding choice for SWF!

"Louis" being an early riser, caught San Francisco waking up. Louis attributes the camera shake to (A) it was still early enough that "Louis's" caffeine meter was not yet out of the red zone and (B) the lack of a tripod for a shot like this....

Hi Lynn! Back home and profiting from the holidays, I’m trying to catch up your posts (What a nice week: June 10th, Portugal’s Day; June 13th, Lisbon’s Day - St. Anthony of Lisbon, not Padua… ;)).
Love to see the sky from above... ;))
The world of the blogosphere is building new connections. Amazing! The post on the meeting with Roxie is quite nice; Great «reportage»!
Thanks for your comments at Blogtrotter, which is now landed in Santiago de Compostela, Spain! Hope you enjoy, and have a nice weekend!

Hi Lynn, beautiful photo taking while you were flying. Isn't it fun sometimes too, when you see an image in the clouds or whatever it is you happen to be looking at?? I was getting my hair trimmed today and was looking at my stylists faux marble counter top. It was so cool...I saw a beautiful horses head in the counter. After all these years of sitting in that very chair, it is the first time I've seen that. Small wonders keep happening I guess. LOL

Lynn,
I just love watching the clouds under the plane when I am flying. Once we saw lightning under us as we were flying over Orlando. That was really a weird feeling to think about a storm under us instead of over us.

Thanks for sharing this great pic.
Is that my house I see??

Hugs!
Christine
