Heidi of the wonderful blog Foxgloves, Fabric & Folly (don't you just love that name?) hosted a most fabulous Very Vintage Halloween Swap and we all agreed to post about it on October 8th so here we go. Thank you Heidi for being such a fabulous hostess and keeping all of us on track.
Now I have to tell you that so far I have participated in two swaps not knowing either of my swap partners. I have been the luckiest lady in the world as both swaps were over the top wonderful. My fabulous partner for this swap was Ann of AnneFannie's Green Acres. Ann really out did herself and when her big package arrived opening it was like Christmas in October. This was the crown or tiara that I created for her. And I hear she will actually wear it to a party. How fun is that? I loved creating it.
. I knew whatever was inside this box was gonna' be good because she even decorated the outside.
Just look at this......all wrapped in cellophane and tied with a black rose and gorgeous Halloween ribbon.
Isn't that a darling tag?
That fabulous orange pail decorated with that hissing black cat is filled to the brim with stuff.

Okay...I can hear you saying "Get with it Lynn...I want to see the goodies!" I am totally in love with this witches shoe. I put it on the foyer table with the Halloween black flower pot and decorated candles.
Next I pulled out these charming Halloween stickers. I have been using them all month on my outgoing packages. I am sure the mail lady is getting a kick out of my decorated packages.
Now won't I be the cat's meow on Halloween wearing my cute knitted slippers? Aren't these adorable? They are so cozy I know I will be wearing them all winter. :)
My kitchen is all Halloweeny too with the cutest dish towels she included. I can't use them. Don't want to mess them up. I am having a little dinner party Halloween Eve. I'll use them then. Perfect!
Ann is one talented lady! (Have you ever seen her gardens?) Look at these charming Halloween tags she made. I will include one on Boo's (my grand-daughter) Halloween gift.
Can you believe it? We're not done yet! Now everyone needs a bottle of frog toe nails. Don't you agree? I am loving this. This bottle will not be stored after Halloween. No way! It's staying in the kitchen. What a great conversation piece.
Look at this primitive pumpkin. What a charmer. He's a foot tall, has twigs for arms and is covered in orange stars and a tin moon. And in embroidering it reads "October moon, Shining bright, Pumpkins aglow, in it's light."
And last but not least the most fabulous scaredy cat. I adore this piece. He sits in the family room on the table behind the sofa in a little vignette of fresh flowers and white ceramic pumpkins.
Now did I tell you I was lucky, or what? Thank you Ann for your generosity and thoughtfulness and for a most memorable Halloween. And psssst.....let me tell y'all a little secret. Heidi is hosting a Very Vintage Christmas Swap. Run.....don't walk to her blog and sign up. It promises to be one fabulous swap.
