On a more fun note I have been having such a great time creating gift toppers for you in the VintageNest studio. The more I create the more my imagination runs wild. The only thing I need more of is time. I love adding bits and pieces of vintage ephemera, old buttons and old jewelry to them. Here are a few that are ready to go. These are so unique and totally one-of-a-kind and will make any gift so special.

Amendment: I forgot to add this to the post. Cherry, here is a sneak peek of your Very Vintage Christmas swap. Hehe! It's on it's way!

Have a great week y'all and I hope your week started out better than mine. :))

Thank goodness you were not hurt!! Love the toppers!!
Oh this reminds me of the time I tried to avert a lot of traffic on an icy hill and go up a side street. I ended up in the ditch and five hours later, a tow truck finally came and pulled me out. I said how much more to tow me home? It was worth every penny!
I'm glad you are creating!
Love, Dana
I love your stories! Hang in there just think of how interesting your adventures make your life.

Oh dear what a start to the week. I was watching one of those bloopers tv shows today and I saw a four wheel drive in the snow driving towards what they thought was a car park, it turned out the sheet of ice was a frozen water feature in front of an office block, so as soon as the Land Rover drove onto it it was in water nearly to the roof. It was very funny, so it could be worse....Just!! I bet you still managed to look completely chic and stylish despite the circumstances Hee Hee. Hope the rest of your week is uneventful X
Never trust the weather man ;)
Sorry for all the hiking you had to do, but at least you and your car are ok!
The toppers are so pretty! I love the last one with the music and the one with the bird...just lovely!

Bummer. It is so annoying when these type of things happen. I love that your husband didn't say a thing. I believe my husband would have done the same.
WOW! I feel bad for you! I used to have a LONGGG walk like that in our house in the country..I literally pulled many groceries up on sleds and some of my 5 children to!
I love that dove decoration you made and the black one also. Very nice!
Dearest Lynn
so sorry to hear about..yep, sure looks like a loooong way when you have to carry all those bag. Glad you are well..except for some arm exercise hehe..big hugs for the week :D
Lynn, look on the bright side ~ you got your exercise in for the day!! Love the toppers, you are sooo creative!
Oh Lynn, that was just awful! What a perfect time for a "knight in shining armor" to have stepped forward to help you... after all, "sugar melts". I'm glad you didn't though.
My 84 yr old mom is "visiting" indefinitely. She's so much fun! Loving it but if you miss me I'm trying my best to be very entertaining. You should hear me, Lynn, "Mother, would you like to help me make some potholders?" - no response - Repeating it but raising the volume -no response - shaking her shoulder, making sewing motions with my hands... while she looks at me like her daughter has lost it. And so it goes...
Your post made me smile - that is something I definitely would have done as well except I wouldn't have been as smart as you and would have been spinning my tires making a big mess. At least you are safe and sound!

Oh Lynn! So sorry about the car. It does look like a long way to carry the groceries! I am glad that you (&the car) were not injured.
I love the package toppers, especially the one with the blue party horn and the one with music paper. You are so creative!
I hope the rest of you week fares better than Monday!

Oh my gosh, what a mess! Poor thing having to carry all that up the hill no less. At least you didn't hit the tree, right?
