He Was Alive As He Could Be

Frosty the Snowman is a fairy tale they say. He was made of snow but the children know he was as alive as he could be. I love snowmen! After Christmas, when all the decorations have come down, I decorate with snowmen until Valentine's day. So I was doubly delighted to get the snowfall of the season here in Virginia this past weekend. We got 18" of that white stuff and as soon as I could, Bobby G. and I got out and made our "real" snowman. I had put up Christmas wreaths on the windows of the old shed and Mr. Snowman looked quite festive standing there. :) This is my White Wednesday post too but I know you will forgive me for having red in it. It is the season after all. :) This is my last post until after the New Year as we will be traveling right after Christmas and into the New Year. So to all my wonderful blogging friends, Happy White Wednesday and

Merry, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Oh My Gosh,
What a fine handsome snowman. I so love him. I love the scarf for sure, and the wreath on the window is just precious. So serene and all.

I'll tell you I love the snow also, I just do not want to live and work in it. We have been in the desert for 24 years, and I have never driven up north to see the snow. Jamie at MiMi's Corner said we need to go, so maybe sometime after Christmas. We'll make a girls day of it.

Please keep posting the snow pics. I so love them. I would love to make a snow angel. If you get the opportunity, would you make on and post it?

Country hugs sweetie, and thanks so much again...Sherry

I love Frosty so much, I may marry him...don't tell Cat Daddy! It's just we don't see snow like that here in Texas. Ours is always a combination of white, dirt, sticks and leaves...heavy on the dirt!
Have a wonderful holiday and enjoy your time with family. Wishing you many blessings and a Happy New Year! Merry Christmas Lynn, from my home to yours!

YEP...love snowmen...yours are adorable.

I love them...but only when they do not consist of REAL snow in my yard... all SIXTY FOUR WINTERS up NORTH cured us of that. ( laughing)

So cute Lynn! We had snow, too...enough to call it a White Christmas. Not nearly as much as yours. Ours was more a dusting but, it continued all day, adding to the atmosphere.

I am glad your shopping was successful. I found nothing at the thrifts. Sometimes I wonder where all the antiques have gone. xo Joan
