Do Bunnies Lay Pink Eggs?

Cloche is French (and we love French!) for bell and refers to, in this instance, a protective glass covering for plants in cold temperatures. So, I decided I would take my glass cloche outside for Marty's party today. And guess what I found hiding in the newly sprouted clover and daffodils? Yep, my old dirty white rabbit. He's been a good friend all winter, never once complaining about the fact that I left him out in our unusual harsh winter. Poor ol' bunny! He's such a sweetheart and I will move him now to his place of honor on the front porch for the rest of the season. Now bunnies don't lay pink eggs do they?

Thank you all for stopping by and a big thanks to Ms. Marty of the blog, A Stroll Through Life and to Ms. Beverly of How Sweet the Sound for this fun combo day of a Spring Cloche Party and Easter Pink Saturday. And a special thanks to a dear sweet customer of The Vintage Nest who sent me this darling Easter card. :)

Cute bunny. I actually remember my grandmother having some big old cloches that she used out in the garden. Wish I knew what happened to them.

Blessings!

Lynn, I think the only people using cloches for their intended purpose are the tried and true gardeners! The rest of us decorate with them. *big smile*
Love your sweet little bunny outside in the greenery. Have a beautiful Easater. The weather is finally supposed to be nice here! xo Sue

Hi Lynn
I love your idea of going outside. Thinking outside the box or cloche. What a great time to have a cloche party. So close to Easter it was so much fun looking for things to put into a cloche. Thanks for stopping by. I love visiting your blog.

LOL I don't know but I sure would like to imagine things could actually happen :-) For a bunny to lay an egg in the first place and then a colored one at that . . . must be magic :-)

This little bunny must be one surprise to anyone who passes by your home and see him tucked in that little corner of his :-)

Happy Easter, Lynn!

How perfectly spring-like! It fits the season just perfectly.

And, if chickens can lay blue and green eggs, bunnies can definitely lay pink ones!

Have a lovely Easter holiday!

Happy Pink Saturday and Easter Lynn Sweetie...
What a beautiful post. I love you bell shaped cloche and what a beautiful home for your rabbit. He looked quite happy in there for the time being.

Yes I believe bunnies can lay any color of eggs we want them too, and this little rabbit obligingly gave you pink for our very special day of the week. How precious is that?

Your yard looks so green and pretty. I imagine it won't be long and you'll be back on that tractor of yours for the season. Love it. I have been mowing for 2 months now here in Phoenix. Our tiff is up and moving as always.

Have a beautiful Easter Lynn sweetie from my home to yours, country hugs and much love...Sherry

He is not only a handsome bunny, but he must love you very much. I don't think bunnies lay pink eggs, but I do think they can make them appear - like magic.

Happy Pink Saturday and Happy Easter, Lynn.

Love little bunny and his collection of eggs he's gathered for himself. He's sure a cutie and I know he's ready for his treasured place on the porch. I was scrolling down a bit..and I loved the little garden tools you found. I can't wait for yard sale time although with the hours I work,I don't get too many. Happy Pink Saturday Lynn, have a wonderful weekend and a lovely Easter.

♥ your little bunny under the cloche in the grass! I totally spaced on my stone rabbit, that is still in the garage. I could have used him in several places this month. Duh?! Next year for sure...I'm making notes. :-)
