"The Sea, once it cast its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever."
Cousteau
On my treasure hunt last weekend I found this very kitschy vintage hand crafted flower pot full of sea shell flowers. It didn't look all that great as it was, but I saw great potential in the beautiful flowers. I really loved the soft romantic colors especially the subtle PINKS. Someone had worked hours and hours on these gorgeous flowers.....some roses, some mums, other flowers and even some seashell butterflies! You know how crazy I am for stacked books and showcasing something wonderful on top of them and these flowers are definitely it. Imagine these on a shabby chippy white coffee table on top of a stack of books about seashells or ships or mermaids (in your fabulous little beach Oops....I apologize to those who have already been by. I forgot to put the link up for the Cottage Give-Away I am participating in. For those just stopping by click on over for a chance to win all kinds of goodies. Lasting through the end of May.

Oh my goodness, they are amazing!!! I can honestly say I have never seen anything like them! Gorgeous, just gorgeous...I have a beach cottage, I wonder what they would look like here?
( My Glimmermist secret (?) is that I shake the heck out of the bottle for ages and then I sprake from about 20cm back...I also manage to spray everything in the close vicinity but it is a nice light sparkly coverage.)
Hope your day was wonderful,
Kiss Noises Linda
Love the sea shell flowers, I have napkin rings made out of them!

Hi Lynn! Love the seashell flowers..another great find on your treasure hunt!!
Just returned home from several hours with my side of the family at a park!! It was nice and warm and dry BUT extremely windy. I am worn slick from the wind and chasing gr. kids...but it was so terrific to see my nieces and nephews and other relatives. Now, I'm gonna go crash for a while!
Hope you had a terrific Pink Sat! L, Dana

Sorry for the absence, but my computer broke down and I’ll be waiting a month for it to be fixed… ;-( Anyhow, I left you a post on the suburbs of Ephesus for you to enjoy. Have a great week!!
Helly Lynn,
I love the bouquet of flowers and how you wrapped them in music sheets :-). Yes, we do love those pretty flower wrappers but this is something much more interesting so I like it too!
How have you been? Things haven't quite been well but it's going ok now.
