I enjoyed reading this post, how very romantic. We celebrated ours last July. This reminds me of a song, sung by Johnny and June Carter, titled "Where Did We Go Right", it is country/western, but very pretty and romantic. Hope you have a nice weekend.

Lynn, it's been a while since I've been to your blog and have been missing you!
That picture of the couple holding hands just moves me. How youthful the skin was 50 years ago, and how wise and sweet it looks today.
Glad you were all able to celebrate their special day.
Angie
ps, I don't know who "Connie" is, but every time I see that picture it just cracks me up.

Congrats to your sister. I'm sure you enjoyed the family time spent together. I sure am right now. Dad was suppose to pass in 72 hours, but he never aspirated on pleasure feeding and continues to enjoy Mamma Rosa's Fine Italian Cookin' and is now walkin and singing again. The man just won't give up. Thanks for stopping by. Well, that apartment there in my post is the penthouse. The one available for guests doesn't have all those windows and big balcony but is simply gorgeous also. I hear that the building might foreclose this summer and I might not have access after this summer. So, I'll try to get the most use out of it as long as I can. Always let me know when you pop in and I'll let you know if it's available. Hugs~ Rita

So that's what you were celebrating Lynn. I'm in between the cottage and home for the next 2 weeks. Mom is great, and I thank you with a big "T" for coming to see me. I have missed blogging, but I'm taking care of business as they say. It's been a tough few months with Randy being sick. Not sure you know, but he was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. We are now living hour to hour, day by day. Some good, but most bad. Big change in our life style to say the least. I'm so glad I got to go away for my birthday Lynn. It was a blessing in disguise. When I got home, it spiralled down hill with Randy. Something was wrong for over a year, and now it has a name. It's ok, we are managing as best we can.
Congratulations to your sis and BIL. My Aunty and Uncle celebrated their 60th last week. AMAZING!!!
i miss you too Lynn.
Have a wonderful "vintage" kind of summer. Oh, I'm so glad you got out of the "country" and into the city lol We girls need that every once in a while don't we?
Stay sweet my friend. I will keep in touch.
Love Claudie

Lynn, thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and for the sweet comments on my silver. I bought the silver pedestal cake stand at a local antique store. It was quite tarnished and only $20. I polished and polished and polished and love it now! I don't find the silverplated ones ever, so I felt very lucky to happen upon this one!

I also adore the small vintage Christmas ornies and get them whenever I find them. I can't wait to see what you are doing with yours! Please be sure to let me know!!!
