Pink Doo Market

I am so excited today to be participating in three (count them....3) blog hop parties....all right up my alley.  Debbie Doo's Garage Salen' Weekends,  Pink Saturday,  and a new one for me.....Lemoncholy's Flea Market Friday.   Thanks to all three of you for hosting these fun get together's to show off our 'fabulous finds' that just happen to be pink :)  (hey!  somebody needs to start a new party called Fabulous Finds :)  First I want to show you this fascinating shop I discovered at the beach.  I had seen the facade twice on my visits to the beach but it was never open because I was there "out of season".  This time it was and the place was hoppin' with tons of people.  It was really mostly about vintage clothing and I am more into home goods but I still had so much fun browsing and meeting the owners.  When you see a place like this don't you just have to stop??!!!!

Only once in the time I have been on the hunt for things for my shop I have run across the perfect vintage shabby pink roses blanket,  until last weekend.  Look at this one!   Don't you just love it?!!  Look at all those shabby pink roses and I love the way the roses climb up one end only and it has the best old pink satin binding on it.   It's just perfect for a cottage porch chilly night cover-up or to put at the foot of a bed all dressed up in shabby splendor or how divine as a picnic blanket.  Okay ... now I am on the hunt for the perfect vintage picnic basket.  I just listed it in the boutique right here and the price is right. :) 

Thank you Debbie, Beverly and Kecia for allowing me to be a part of your day.  I am off for another day of treasure hunting.  I just can't get enough of the "thrill of the hunt".  And while I am out I am hoping to find a patch of wild blackberry bushes.  I am really in the mood for some blackberry cobbler (with vanilla icecream...yum! )  You have a fabulous weekend too.  xoxo
