Another paper project I love, is making whimsical journals. I have been making them for The Vintage Nest shop and on these too, I always incorporate something old. By adding pieces such as crystal prisms, old jewelry, charms and keys, pressed flowers from my garden, vintage crepe paper ruffles, old paper ephemera, vintage hat flowers and if I am lucky to find it, vintage velvet ribbons, they truly become one-of-kind art journals.
And another love of mine is making the paper gift tags, and again I try to utilize something old on each and every tag. These charming tags are almost like gifts in themselves and become a cherished memory of the occasion on which it was given.
And last, but surely not least, featuring my paper altering efforts, is my hard working girl, Gigi. Covered in vintage dictionary paper, she is the epitome of grace and style.
