Sneak Peek

Summer's Production is almost over and everywhere teachers can smell the hint of chalk instead of salt water.  Kids have just a bit longer to wear their shorts instead of uniforms.  Dreams of fitting into a bikini can be packed away for another year....ha!  The cute summer lifeguard now looks pretty ordinary in just street clothes and the flip flops have blown out.  And the month of August is a little preview of what I have been working on all summer in The Vintage Nest studio for September's reality.  So without furthur ado here's  just a sneak peek at what's to come.  :)

Can you hear jingle bells? :)  See you Saturday for Pink Saturday!  Don't miss it because there will be a give-away of monumental proportions and everywhere music will be playing, and there will be dancing in the street, laughing and singing.....as long as you are there!!

Loved the summer's end thoughts. Especially the bikini dreams and the cute lifeguard looking ordinary. So true! What is it about the title "Lifeguard" that automagically takes an average guy and elevates him to an Adonis? LOL

Looking forward to seeing the Christmas things. The pictures look very enticing.

So true about the bikini, it isn't easy to pull off when I still have my winter padding:)

Your Xmas treasures look gorgeous! I am so ready for the holiday season!!! My husband has to keep reminding me that it's still months away!

When you create something it is like poetry in motion. These are just so pretty, I am not ready for jingle bells yet. Have a nice week.

You and Santa are really creating some beautiful treasures. I am so ready for fall and will be posting lots of fall recipes on my blog. Right now I am dancing to your music which just came on, Dancin In The Streets, I love it!!! How did you do that?

Hi Lynn,

Wow, I love your Christmas stuff!!!! I'm such a nut for vintage ornaments with their softly worn exteriors, chipped areas and distressed interiors. Why do people get so silly about things that aren't new and perfect? Personally, I love the story behind it's exterior and how someone might have loved it. Yeah, I'm a sentimental old fool. Thanks again for sharing.

Hugs,
Meri

Well here I am and my bells are put away for a while still I hope lol
Last summer I was going to do some "Xmas in July" with Brittany, but I just couldn't pull myself away from the summer sun. Of course I will be a complete old looking prune in a few years, but it sure feels good to have a nice tan. I wish I could put it in a jar and plop it on the shelf, because come Jan. we're off to Mexico, first time, to my nephews wedding. A destination wedding. My sister's son. I only have 2 nephews, so we are very very excited.
Ok you know I LOVE my swing, but that sweet pink one hanging in the tree that belongs to your neighbour is so neat. Love the ice cream truck. Couldn't wait for the "man" to ring that bell when I was a kid. Now those Tin flowers on that white fence??? That would be cool around the pool for sure. I wonder where they came from. Haven't seen anything like them around here.
Now that hook Lynn... ummmmmm your crazy girl.
Now about that bikini? I'm still going to try and get into one by January, if I could just stay away from the ice cream and buttered corn : )
Love you to pieces.
Love Me

Lynn, I am SO ready for cooler weather!

I'm up for air from my blog break, and I had to get by here to see what you've been doing. I hope to be blogging again by the first of September. You knows how they say that life can be a jealous mistress? (Actually, I think that's the law, but we're saying life, LOL!) Anyhow, it is, and I've got to get out of its clutches by paying it lots and lots of attention. LOL! In the mean time, missing you and blogging.

Your goodies are always the best! I loved my blog win from you last year. It was NEAT! :-)

XO,

Sheila
