White Wednesday ~ White Santa

And you thought all I did at the beach back in July was just lay around under a big old cabana umbrella, drinking a Pina Colada and occasionally turning a page on the romance novel I was reading.   Nuh- uh!  I was up before the sun every morning scouring the beach, during low tide, looking for beautiful shells.....every day.   Looking for just the perfect shells to put on our fabulous beach chic white shabby Santa at The Vintage Nest.   This one is fashioned from a composite material and is quite weighty.  He carries a lantern in one hand, with his fishing net and basket over his shoulder.  His net bears the treasures of the sea with beautiful  shells  and vintage creamy pearls.   He stands just under 12" tall and there is even real sand at his feet.   A lasting and sweet reminder of fun times at the beach, even in the cold of winter.  ~~~~~~ Before the big bad cold hits I will be heading to the beach one more time.....in just about a week and I can't wait and maybe this time I really will have that pina colada!  :)

Many, many thanks to Kathleen over at that enchanting blog, Faded Charm, for hosting this fun day.  Just click here for more fabulous whites.  And I hope you will pop back in on Friday.  I will be participating in the best Autumn blogging party,.....  'Practical Magic'....remember the movie?.  And I have cooked up some devilishly good chocolate breakfast treats for you.  xoxo

Your seashell santa is adorable! I am on my way to check out your archives and of course I am now following you.

I can see you're already thinking about Christmas. I used to have a house on Anna Maria and if we were down there for Christmas, I never knew how to decorate but this all white Santa is perfect!

What a gorgeous Santa!!! He's stunningly beautiful, and he looks fabulous with the shells.

And, by the way, a pina colada sounds totally delicious. I'll join you in one.

Have a lovely day,

Whoooo-Hooooo! You aren't the only person in the world, who drinks a Manhattan with extra cherry juice! :-)

Isn't it lovely to find like minded Manhattan drinkers? -gigggles-
