Visions of SugarPlums

A Holiday Preview & Pink Saturday

The French Cupboard invites you to their HOLIDAY PREVIEW PARTY, all Halloween weekend.  I am thrilled to be a part of this glorious shopping event where you will find all that is UNCOMMON and lovely and beautiful and whimsical.   A shopping and looking event, showcasing vintage and hand created unlike no other.  Using my free time (ha!) this summer to make some gorgeous vintage Christmas trees,  I also married vintage items to make some uncommon and gorgeous tree ornaments.  While visions of sugar plums danced in my head, (and the air-conditioning was turned on full blast)  I twirled and dreamed of pretty German glass tole painted ornaments,  beautiful old painted spun glass tailed mercury glass birds, creamy old pearl brooches, old time pieces, vintage tinsel and the whitest German angel hair.  There are only two of these to grace your Christmas tree so don't be late to the show.  Possessing so much vintage patina and our favorite colors of aqua, cottage blue and of course our beloved PINK,  these charming pieces a delight to behold.

There's a whole list of places to search for the wonderment of the holidays on the linky at French Cupboard.  I promise, you won't be disappointed.  Polly is going to keep the list up thru the holidays so you can return again and again for inspiration and to purchase.

My ornaments are also my contribution to Pink Saturday this week but I just had to get a pumpkin thrown in here somewhere.  I mean, after all, it is Halloween weekend, right? :) And besides, Beverly, bless her heart, and even though it's a pink day,  said we could do orange.....just this once.  Soooooooo.....This sweet little orange punkin sits next to the still blooming pretty pink and white impatiens beside The Vintage Nest entrance.  And for lots more pink today (and orange) you can click right here.   Have a great day and fun Halloween night.  Even though Bobby G. and I are as old as the hills we are going on a haunted hay ride and then home for a fun dinner with friends. xoxo
