It Ain't Pretty ~ PS Give-Away

It's so much fun to win the give-aways all the generous bloggers have. Especially when you win, forget, and then a package arrives in the mail with your name on it that everyone in the family is so excited to open. Wondering who it's from....even the dog's tail is wagging like crazy feeling all the excitement in the air. I was the lucky recipient of two wins recently......woohoo!  I love it!   This package was heavy....really heavy.  Upon opening it up, I discovered one of those fabulous digital frames in it.  Now, what I had thought I had won with this give-away was some new pain patches from Salonpas, which works wonders on us olden people's aches and pains.  I loved it on my aching back.  So totally forgetting about the digital frame, it was an extra whammy surprise.  Those things are great and Bobby G. has been wanting one for his office to show of his vintage tractor photos, his big fish, and not to mention his gorgeous grand-daughters and me of course. :)  Thank you Kay for that give-away.  Kay has the best blog, SandwichINK.com that talks about her multi-generational care-giver life, hints, tips and a resource tool on living with grandparents and little ones.  She is a truly genuine and caring person and loves to give us a "sandwich break".  Won't you visit her today?

The next day another package arrived.  This one from the lady who paints the prettiest roses (I am so jealous) on anything that passes under her paintbrush.  Janet sells her creations on her website  GracefulRose.com  Isn't that a pretty name?  She had a chocolate give-away.....YUM!  Among all the pretties I won,  was this charming painted PINK cupcake on canvas board.  I think this may go in the grand-girls' room!  Thank you Janet!  :)  I am honored to have one of your sweet paintings in my home.

Now this wasn't a give-away but a package that arrived in the mail from one of my customers.  I do have the BEST and sweetest and nicest customers in the world.  They send me presents.......how about that?  She sent the cutest little flower pot with a bird on it.  Goes right along with The Vintage Nest, which I adore. Right now I am using it for a bird feeder and as you can see the little chick-a-dees love it.  Thank you T.P. You are very special :)

~~~~~Now For MY GIVE-AWAY~~~~~
Yay!!  It's a Give-Away for the New Year.  Nope, it's not a pretty one ladies BUT you will love it!  (the pretty is coming soon! :) So sorry they don't have pretty roses painted on them but I guarantee it you will get tons of use out of these tools.   I know, like me, there are tons of DIY'ers out there who love nothing more than finding a fabulous,  albeit run down,  piece of furniture, and like nothing more than turning it into a show stopper for your home or shop.  I mean after all, that's part of the thrill of our treasure hunts.   Well.....these tools will help you get the job done. And if they don't work for you, I know there's a guy in your life that will love it.  And he'll think you are the bestest for giving him tools!  These tools are the Husky tools from Home Depot.  Bobby G.  and I use the T-handle driver set and love it.
Husky 48 piece Tri-Grip Screwdriver Set from Home Dept
* Comfortable Triangular Disc Grip
* Natural Wrist Motion, with a Powerful Grip Prevents Hand and Wrist Strain
* On the Go Access with Storage in the Handle
Set Contains:
- Ratcheting Tri-Grip Driver
- 14 – 1/4 inch Sockets
- 32 – Screwdriver Bits
- Extension Bar
*Guaranteed Forever
*** Regulations require me to let you know that I was provided with a complimentary set of these tools to review and give-away.
Nothing fancy here to do to sign up for my give-away.  Just leave a comment and make sure I have a way to email you if you are the winner.  And I would love it if you will "follow" me if you aren't already.  If you are, then I thank you so much.  Give-away ends January 21st and I'll announce the winner at Pink Saturday, Jan. 22.  :)  P.S. I have to limit this one to the U.S. because of the weight of the tools for shipping. :(
And as always, a big thank you to Beverly of How Sweet the Sound for allowing me to be a part of Pink Saturday.  There's a huge list of us pink lovers over there.  Go take a peek.   ~ HAPPY PINK SATURDAY ~  xoxo
P.S. Hang on to your pretty pink hats because I do have another give-away coming up soon and it's a very very pretty one. :)
P. S. S.  I haven't been given an award in a long time.  Love this....'cause heaven knows I love stylish but don't always accomplish it.....just by looking at that photo of me in this post, you can see that! ha!  Thank you Ruthi of the blog " A bit of Sunshine" for this stylish award. Visit Ruthi won't you because she just loves spreading sunshine to all who visit.
