Pink Lady

As I typed the title of this post I am thinking a Pink Lady may be a special cocktail.   Not sure....but if it's not it should be. Love the name! But my Pink Lady is totally different. Had a blast on my antiquing/junking/beach trip last week. We ate too much and laughed twice as much....got lost, and spent tons of time on the road hunting for treasures. For Pink Saturday I just had to show you this fabulous old pink shabby building with blue steps. I have to tell you that this is the kind of place my car just automatically turns into. The other ladies in my car were just amazed at such a thing. I drooled over the pink ladies on the front porch. Try as I might I just could not talk the guy into selling me one of these fabulous pieces. Today's post will be short and sweet. I have been super busy, since coming home, with a new venture happening for me. I will tell you all about it as a little more time passes but I am so excited. But because of it, my post may not be as often as I would like so don't give up on me. And I want to thank Beverly, our Pink Saturday hostess and the owner of that wonderful blog How Sweet the Sound, for helping me out last week. Now have a wonderful day and be sweet. xoxo

Oh wait....before I go I wanted to show you this fabulous beach home.  It was a couple of blocks from where we were staying.  I won't tell you who it belongs to, but you all know her.  Oh okay.....you talked me into giving you a hint.  She turns letters on a long running game show.  :)  Happy Pink Saturday.

Happy Pink Saturday, dear Lynn. I am excited about your coming news.

How appropriate that VW would have a home there. And, of course you would never tell us.

I would have had to turn into this store, too. Do tell where it is.

Oh...and the other little lady you referred to doesn't turn letters anymore, she just taps them!

Love that shabby building! Who would've thought that turning letters could buy a house like that? Beautiful.

Hi from another "Lynn". I am in Florida away from all the snow. That building is amazing. Will have to google that beautiful home of V's and see where the other building is. Blessings.

That is a store I definitely would enjoy seeing. Thanks for let us have a peak at VW's mansion. I watch her each day on the show. One thing for sure you were staying in a very nice area.

You know-you could probably re-create those ladies...they look like they are on plywood or something....and you have a picture. You could graph it out and then apply the graph principle to the plywood....just a thought.

I can't wait to hear what your new venture is...but I am guessing it is something to do with antiques or re-sale..that's my best guess.

Glad you have fun...it is always great when you come home and have laughed more than you have eaten...that's the perfect indicator of a wonderful trip! Hugs-Diana

That is a unique building and someone with a good imagination painted it...the blue steps just "make it."

Congratulations on your new venture and I will be eagerly waiting to know what it is....somthing creative, I bet!

Happy Pink Saturday Lynn Sweetie...
I just knew that you would be popping up with something spectacular from this drive down the coast. Oh my what a beautiful store. I too, think they should have parted with at least one of those gals for your home at the Vintage Nest. She would have been so happy there. Maybe you can get DH to help you make one of your own. You are SO talented sweetie, jump on this one like you do that old tractor of yours. I can see you now.

Vanna? Did you say Vanna? Oh my gosh, what a gorgeous home. I love it, and this is probably as close as I would ever get to it too. It is so elegant and definitely her.

Can't wait to see what else you have to share from this glorious trip, as I know there are many.

Happy Pink Saturday Sweetie. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

LOVE the Pink Lady (building and drink!).....DON'T keep us in suspense too long about your new venture!!

And to think, I spent years going to college....and all I would have had to have done was get a gig as a letter turner on a game show to have all of the money I ever needed! Just one little hitch....I'm not skinny or cute like "V" is!!!

Have a great Pink Saturday!

Hi Lynn,
What a great old pink house!
As for the secret lady, we all know who she is and just think, looking pretty and turning letters can afford you a beach house like that! Wow!

Yes Lynn, there is a cocktail called Pink Lady, it originated during prohibition. A trip would not seem right without getting lost. Too bad about the pink Lady, they are so cute, what a wonderful old building. Now that is some beach home, one a person can only dream of. Don't worry we will be checking back to see what you are up to. Have a nice week.
