Waking Up to Pink

Happy Pink Saturday

Wouldn't you love to wake up to this romantic piece every day?  Thought I would show you some of my recent vintage fun finds this sweet Pink Saturday.   I am listing these in my e-boutique just as fast as I can.  I spied this sweet baby Ben alarm clock two aisles over and said "excuuuuuuse me" to those (in my way) as I ran to get it.   Love, love, love this shade of pink and those pink prong set rhinestones....oh my!   It has the sweetest soft tick tock and all works perfectly.   Can you stand it???

AND then I found this!!!  Can you stand it times 2!!!?   This is only the second one of these charming old chalkware lamps that I have run across.  Her pretty lace skirts were tattered beyond cool shabby so she goes without But I love her wire frame exposed best.  I have some beaded bulb covers which I tried on her bare bulbs and it's a fabulous look. I spotted one of these in the Spring issue of Romantic Country, one of my fave magaziness.  Did you see it?  Both of these lucky and happy finds are on the Romancing with Shabby page  under Home Goods at my website, The Vintage Nest,  so if you are inclined there's a special going on.  15% off to bloggy and newsletter friends.  Enter code "spring" at checkout and she's yours.

I wish you all happy treasure hunting and a fabulous weekend and applause to our wonderful hostess, Beverly, of How Sweet the Sound blog for this fun day.

Happy Pink Saturday...my first. I love that clock....they are almost imposiible to find in Australia and if you do come across one they for huge amounts (outta my budget unfortunately) but I still love admiring them. And that lamp is divine...I have never seen one before. You guys in America are very lucky...you have some of the prettiest things in the world and they seem to be very easy to come by.
I hope you will pop in and visit me when you have a chance.

Pssst your lady lamp scares me a little. (Chalkware, not a fan, ladies with sockets protruding from their heads, even less) BUT I'd brave bumping into her just to sit and stare at the alarm clock a while. Bet you can't sleep some nights for just looking at it and thinking how brilliant you are to have found it.

Love the pink alarm clock! What kind of a store did you find it in? You mentioned an aisle so I'm curious...
