Nice job on those sleds. I love the white for Xmas! Nothing like being prepared ahead of time.

The sleds are very cute. It's sort of nice to think about Christmas, today it's 90 degrees. Very unusual and feeling a little spoiled for wanting air conditioning in May!! ;-D

I have an old sleigh that my son made and would love to paint it. I'll be watching to see what you do with yours.

You're always thinking ahead Lynn! How do you find the time though with the fabulous wedding coming up?! And, white do you mean the bride isn't a pink girl, ha!

Happy WW,
Jacalyn

Can NOT wait to see the results!
wish I could be as well planned out as you ... I'm always flying by the seat of my pants!!

To answer your veneer question ... I just pull away the pieces that are loose or basically falling off ... sand well around rough edges and leave it that way ... I like the shabby look!

Have a great day!

I can so relate! I was just talking to my sales rep yesterday. Since I didn't go to market in Jan. I really, really need to be placing my final orders for fall and Christmas NOW (for my silks, etc.) It's what we do, huh? ;)

How great! I have two vintage sleds and I love using them for Christmas decorations, usually on the front porch. Love em! Stopping by from French Cupboard.
