There's Something About Rose

Happy Pink Saturday

There's  Something About (a) Rose.......
That Reminds Me Of You

I love this!
it was the only thing I found on my treasure hunts this week but made all the looking worth it.  Inscribed on the back in penned words:  1928 sheet music.  Isn't she gorgeous with her flapper girl hair and pearls?  Gorgeous old patina with a moon and rose that has faded to a warm soft pink.

Love to find pieces that have writing on them to help establish the provenance of the piece.  This art deco piece is framed in a vintage black skinny wood frame that sets her off beautifully.  If you love roses, and who doesn't, how special is this piece?  Have a wall of antique Sunday Afternoon  rose oil paintings?  She would fit right in and thrilled to be there. :) You can find her here.

Please visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for a world of pink and have a wonderful weekend.  I am doing something a little different this Saturday with a surprise for Bobby G.  Hope he likes it. :) Do you have special plans?   xoxo

I do enjoy looking through the old sheet music and then wonder who was playing the piano or singing along...what kind of a day/night was it, etc. My imagination is always on!!!

Pretty cover on this one...and it was perfect for framing.

Roses are my favorite and Lilac my second. My rose bush only gave me four blooms. Happy Pink Saturday.

Love the stylized face of the woman. It makes great framed art....multi purposing. Sheet music and art.

I love your framed music cover.
I had a beautiful one too, but gone now. Things like that do not last long in the store. =)

Thanks for coming by my place. Did you find your way in fog?? Find any treasures??
