Halloween Bugs ~ Ewwww!

Did I scare you!??   Scared myself!!!  Hahahahhahahaha.........

Pretty Halloween Bugs......there truly are some pretty bugs out there.....really!

Bobby G. came proudly clutching a hand full of "weeds" he found while cutting the front field back in early September.  Of course, I loved them.  I nestled them in the haystack garland by the front door and not long after these gorgeous black and orange Halloween bugs appeared, clearly relishing the beautiful pods on my weeds. Research revealed the pretty greens he had brought me were milkweed pods and the fascinating insects .... milkweed bugs.  Totally harmless.....so i have let them live on my Halloween front porch decor.  How apropos.....wouldn't you say?

Thank you Beverly, of How Sweet the Sound, for hosting our fun Pink Saturdays and for letting me turn my Pink Saturday into Orange.  However you celebrate Halloween, have fun, and turn on the lights because I may just show up at your door.  Until next time....xoxo

Neat! I love weeds and dried things and bugs are so interesting. Botany and biology were two of my favorite subjects in school. Can you tell? Fun post!

Lynn,
I wasn't scared, well, maybe just a little! LOL! Those bugs are beautiful, they add a little something to the decor, living art!

Cool! I've always loved bugs...they are so interesting if you look close. Close, but not ON me please.

Oh my gosh, Lynn. How in the world did you do that? You cracked me up.

Have fun with your Halloween bugs. And, Happy Pink Saturday.

A horse walked into a bar and the bartender said "why the long face?". Haha - now what made me think of that? You look fabulous! xoxo Nancy

I have never seen orange bugs, either. Not sure I want to, but they go perfect with your decorations.....

Bugs on the porch is okay. But if they know what's good for them, they won't cross the threshold. Have a great Pink Saturday.

Lynn, That picture is a little freaky! I am not a bug lover so Bobby G would have to take those weeds back to where he got them from. LOL

Happy Pink Saturday Lynne Sweetie...
What a fun share today. I love your photo. You are so stinkin cute. Your music was just perfect.

Now you would have to tell Bobby G to take those little colored bugs right on back to the pasture. I do not do bugs. They scare me. Looks to spooky real for me.

Thanks for sharing sweetie. Hope you have a glorious weekend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

The insects are actually rather pretty (I'm guessing they aren't poisonous, destructive or anything)... and your spooky pic is brilliant. Very scary!

Happy Halloween, hugs and Happy Pink Saturday from the UK!

Oh my gosh. I want to run into my room and hide under the covers..but it's haunted in there. The worst room in the house for spooks. So..I'll just keep right on blogging. :)

Hi Lynn! Sorry for the absence, but these last two months have been nasty! My mother (90) was in hospital for more than three weeks and the post-surgery was hard! My father (94) seemed to be orphan while my mother was out and felt into some kind of depression... The economy is a disaster and the media only bring bad news... The € Euro is rescued every day, only to be known that it needs to be rescued again and again... What else? Well, maybe «Midnight in Paris»... The problem is that the Gil there is a different one... ;)

Come on; that's too scary... ;)

Blogtrotter Two wanders currently around Porto Vecchio and the beaches in the region! Enjoy and have a wonderful week ahead!
