Thanksgiving is Thursday ~ It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

At Thanksgiving, my mom always makes too much food, especially one item, like 700 or 800 pounds of sweet potatoes. She's got to push it during the meal. "Did you get some sweet potatoes? There's sweet potatoes. They're hot. There's more in the oven, some more in the garage. The rest are at the Johnson's." - Louie Anderson

Leaving you today with images of the season out here on the farmette. From my house to yours, I wish for you a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope that you will carry the day's message through out the year.  I have a thankful heart for the family and friends that will gather here for fellowship, shared dishes and blessings on Thursday. ~ Lynn

I was raised in a family that never had them because my mother didn't like them. I went away to college and had them at the dorm kitchen (along with my first taste of pecan pie) and LOVED them, and have had them ever since!

Love your fall decorations. Just lovely!
