Not me.....the weather! (Well...my pool boy thinks I'm hot! :) Ha! Unbelievable hot here! Our 4th of July fireworks celebration on Sunday night turned into the most scary and amazing natural fireworks show I have ever seen. Have you ever seen lightning strike the ground up close and personal? Trust me....you don't want to see that EVER! Despite the 105 temps, no ac and no power (back on now thank goodness) we're having a blast with the family here!
The grand fur babies are visiting too and enjoying the pool right along with the humans! :)
The grand girls dressed in their stars and stripes for a party. Ms. Boo helped her Grand-mama makes these gorgeous confections of red white and blue.
And I hope your 4th of July holiday is a Big Bang lot of fun!

It looks like you are already for Fourth of July fun! I am glad you have your power back : ) You'll need that! And I know what you mean about seeing lightning close up....truly shocking and stunning!
Hugs,

Lynn-It sounds like you are having a wonderful time with your grandkids and family.
Ummm...is that pool boy available to rake the sand by the bay here? xo Diana
Oh Lynn I was wondering how you did with the storm, my sons apartment building is still the only one with power as far as they can see, they have signs on the door that no one can come in with out being a resident and the doors are locked, people are trying to get into ac...He is afraid it is going to get ugly soon if the power does not come back on. he said it was just like being in the hurricanes down here, but quicker. Oh and you have company too..And they are Adorable may i add...Have a great 4th!

Super dooper hot here too - in 100s - your g babies are beautiful and that pic of your pootch on the raft in the pool is one of the funniest pics I have ever seen, haha - hilarious!
Your cupcakes made my mouth water!
Take care - cooler days are coming, heck we'll be complaining about the ice and snow before we know it, even.
Lynn, Can you believe the storms we had? We lost power for about nine hours. Your grandkids are adorable and I bet they are enjoying the pool.
Looks like you all are having a good time despite the heat. Happy 4th of July!
Your granddaughters are beautiful. It is weather like this when I really miss my pool.
Enjoy,
Laura
Lynn, those are some beautiful girls you have there.♥ Have a wonderful time with your family, and enjoy your holiday.
It is so ... hot here, too.
We were very fortunate not to lose our power from the storm last Friday night. Great you have a pool to cool off. Your granddaughters are adorable!

That pool is definitely the place to be in this weather. Happy 4th!
Happy 4th of July!!! Xoxo
Looks like you've found the right spot to beat the heat!
Hi Aunt Lynn - Wow, the girls are getting so big! I know you must be having a wonderful time spending time with them :) And cupcakes look fabulous, too! Love you!!
What a fun post, and you obviously had a great time on the 4th! Here, it's cold and dark, raining like crazy and flood warnings! I've had all the lights on since 5.50 - what happened to summer? Happy Pink Saturday from a rainy UK.
HPS!
These girls are adorable! That pooch floating on the pool is so funny!
Name? A hound?
I should be in cold water and with ice cubes as well, it's so hot here!!!
Gabriela
Oh so sweet!! I agree the girls are just adorable!!
Good morning, Lynn, and happy PS and July 4th!
Wow....I'm glad you weren't hurt during the storm....and also so glad your A/C is on now! The heat has been brutal here in KC, too. 105 yesterday and near that the days before. We're ONLY going to be in the 90s today...and hopefully in the 80s tomorrow. We have no rain...and it's so needed.
Your grand girls are soooooooo adorable and so is that sweet grand dog! I know they are loving visiting you guys...and I'm so happy for you that they are!
We celebrated Grand Boy #1's third birthday yesterday. We'd already had a big co-party a month ago with his sis (she turned 6). We gave them each a little gift to open last night. I included a box of his favorite mac and cheese (it's organic ha ha) and he carried that with him ALL night....even into the ice cream shop after we ate dinner! He asked me as we left if he could sleep with it! :) Aren't they the greatest?
Gotta get ready for church. Loved seeing your girls!
