Waiting for Air Force One

And at the end, they sat on the tarmac waiting for a very special plane to take off...... so they could too.  The President was visiting our fair city and my family's flight just happened to coincide with his take off time too.  So it was a thrilling end to a fun couple of weeks.  The peals of laughter and little girl toys are all gone now but the memories live forever.  These images capture just a few of the precious times.   xoxo Me

 Happy Pink Saturday

all tuckered out after a day of fun in the sun!  Me a.k.a. GG and Ms. AL

Boo can bait it, cast it, hook it, take it off and all without help or a fishing line bird's nest!   And with her help, her Dad caught a citation.

My oldest son.......he may not be a contender for the Summer Olympics London dive team but he's a "10" in my eyes! (I know that sounds corny Jas but it's true!)

Everyone loves a slip n' slide and it's even better when it's made longer with Grandmama's plastic painting drop cloths  :)

A trip to the zoo was on the agenda for one day.   Always fun!

the baby giraffe ........ huge hit!
Okay......I'm up here!  Can I come down now?
my gorgeous d-i-l and her girls

don't even ask!......but it sure did come in handy! :)
And a sweet surprise announcement from my youngest and his wife..... :)

Wishing you the best. I noticed on one of your comments, you did not know about the new version that blogger is wanting us to use. It should tell you at the top of your dashboard. I have finally mastered the new version and I like it.
