Hip Hop

 undaunted by winter's determination as the

the fat white flakes slowly and lazily drifted down,

I arranged my raggedy rabbits

 inspired by Kris at Junk Chic Cottage
Spring has sprung ....... ....  just a little

on my front porch

once upon a time, this old hatted rabbit was the base to a table
 who can resist the faces of sweet pansies as a welcome to Spring

the shabby white papier mache bunny hides his eggs

 a yardsale find..........an egg topiary sits elegantly in the old rusty urn

the shabby white rusty lanterns displays each season's sweetness
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Spring......he's never failed us yet :)
The Vintage Nest.com has some sweetness for your front porch too.  A charming old silver gray concrete dove and a hand carved shabby white wood bird......found here
I was just looking at my rabbits and thinking it's time to sprinkle some spring around, snow or no snow. Thanks for the inspiration!
beautiful! We have grey sky and snowflakes today, too! Next month it will be more springlike in Ohio. For now, it's still quite wintry!
Hello Lynn,
Lovely! We had a few flurries today here in T.O. But sings of Spring are everywhere. I can see tiny buds of leaves in the trees ready to open.
Yesterday we were having ice cream in the sun!
Lynn,
It is so beautiful. I want to do my porch in the worst way but I will have to wait a little bit for the snow to melt. They are saying 40's this week woooo hooo that is a start.
Your porch looks beautiful. I love the whimsy with the chippy. So pretty.
Now, Lynn...you KNOW with a title like "Hip Hop" you are going to have the likes of Jay Z and Snoopy Dog Dog landing on your post page when they Google themselves! :-) (I'm sure EVERYBODY Googles themselves at least once in their life!) This is a sweet vignette, and I really, really like that carved bird! Hooray for you for tempting Spring to get here soon!!!
I love the Spring vignettes and love the bunnies. I'm looking forward to some warm weather but we have a snowstorm on the way. Yuck. thanks for the Spring inspiration.
Lynn, Spring has definitely arrived at your house. Love all the vignettes, especially the bunny hiding his eggs under the twiggy tree.
Great shot of the pansies in the mossy urn, too.
Love the touches of spring on your porch. We are getting a snow storm right now so I'm going to have to wait until the snow melts to do any spring decorating outside!
Hello Lynn,
I hope you are well. We saw all the snow you people got in Virginia!
Seriously....this crazy winter stuff has GOT to quit!!! Enough, already! I just saw on tonight's news that the NE is getting slammed yet again!!! Crazy!!! Maybe if we all follow your cue and start to decorate our porches and doors, we'll embarrass winter into taking its leave so that spring can come marching in! :-) In a show of solidarity, my sister, I'll do it...as soon as I can open my back door because the snow is still all piled high against it! :-) :-) :-) Enjoy your weekend, Lynn! I hope sunshine makes it your way soon!
Lynn, it all looks so welcoming! I love the lanterns and bunnies. I wish I had a protected area to set up an outdoor display. The snow and dripping gutters are not conducive to setting something up. I'm missing last year's mild winter and warmer temps. Thanks for the inspiration to anticipate spring. xo, Sue
