The Vintage Home Market ~ Revisited

WOW

I am TOTALLY & UTTERLY EXHAUSTED

 BUT

TOTALLY & ABSOLUTELY feeling HAPPY

from THE VINTAGE HOME MARKET
 this past weekend

It was so much fun seeing regular customers, meeting and chatting with new ones, welcoming friends and family and reaching out to our fellow vendors with so much love and support.  The creativity and imagination of each vendor was incredible and each and every booth was a show stopper. OH.....and the fun, unique, and fabulous things to buy were to die for.  The promotors of the show, Tony and Marc, created such a fun, friendly atmosphere, was so good to the vendors, and greeted each customer with a sweet Spring time beverage and cookies, all in the most charming of settings.   If you missed it this time,  you will not want to miss it next time!  Mark your calenders!!  Let me show you some delightful stuff I caught on camera.

I went a little different this time instead of my usual Euro-shabby look and did a patriotic red, white and blue theme......sorta  :)

Tony, one of the promoters of the event, greeting customers at the ticket booth (looking so good Tony!)

One side of the entrance.....all ready for Spring gardening

Lemonade, sweet tea and cookies for our guest

Turquoise, teal, and that fabulous green are hot colors this season and there was no shortage of it at the Market.  This adorable wheel barrel and tea cart were in my neighbor, Miss Vicki's booth.

Don't you love it?.......oodles of lace resting on a bird table

Another shot of my neighbor's sunny yellow and green booth and my red, white and blue

Donna, of Snow Creek Farm, had a fabulous garden theme in her space.  All I needed was a lawn chair and I could have sat there all day, sipping that sweet tea and lemonade

Now, Mona, (affectionately called Moaner), is such a talented artist, artiste extraordinaire.  Her work is famous all over the city and can be found at Feathernesters Showhouse, Richmond, Va.

This was the booth of my across the aisle neighbor, Dana of The "Re-Find Nest".  Dana has a great eye for finding the BEST stuff and in my humble opinion, had the best piece of the show,......which was quickly snatched up by a very lucky person.

A fun  industrial arrow sign piece resting on a very fun chair

There were some beautifully created re-made jewelry pieces, several of which I bought.  :)  With such clever displays.

this was Fiddledeedee's booth....beautiful with so much softness and romance.  I believe it got "Best in Show"

lots of shabby going on in and I love that pink enamel basin.  I think I heard the lady that bought it was going to use  it as dog bed...pretty cool

this beautiful sofa was set up as a photo booth with fun props.  Many of the customers had their pics. taken with their special finds.  This pretty lady is Jennie of Rusticity Decor.  Don't you love it?  Her booth was so cute. Among the darling items she makes are boot bands, that she is modeling here.

 Awesome piece!

Marc, helping a customer transport a heavy piece she purchased.

A beautiful tent canopy for her space and I am love with that teal galvanized top table.....what a fabulous work island that would be in a beach house or any house.

One of my bird houses, pink and white, made from old pasture fencing with vintage door hardware and antique tin roof and every little bird loves a little bling so I added a vintage crystal chandelier pendant. :)

I hope you enjoyed the show.  I will be doing catch-up housework,  more treasure hunting, re-styling my space at Feathernesters and updating The Vintage Nest website this week. I hope yours is wonderful and Happy Mother's Day. xoxo

Oh wow!! It all looks fantastic and I can hear the excitement in your words...I'm sure it was a success. As we all do, we the ones that live nowhere near the event, I saw many things I would have packed into the truck (and yes, we would have brought the old truck!!). I love that birdhouse...just have a thing for them regardless if the birds like them. Good for you, Lynne!

I've been slow on visiting...hoping I haven't missed a lot. A birdie says you may be visiting our neck of the woods this summer??? Please let me know! :)

XO,
Jane

No wonder you're both exhausted AND happy! It looks like that must have been quite a bit of work, but all the fun stuff would make any girl happy!!!!!! So cool! Looks to me like one could find just about any and everything there!

I like the boot bands. We were in San Antonio recently, and I bought several boot bling bracelets. Got one for my Mom for Mother's Day. She loves to wear boots in winter, and I figured the bling would make them extra special. It's like wearing an ankle bracelet in summer. Fun!

Get some rest, darlin'! You deserve it!!! Oh...have a Happy Mother's Day weekend!
