My Booth

Aged to perfection to inspire a style of your own, is what I try to accomplish in furnishing my booth where I peddle my vintage and antique wares.  Rooms aren't about perfection ...... the furniture pieces should look like they have been handed down from generation to generation, dotted with accessories that speak to you and spiked with family memories.
Let's take a little tour....   :)
Seems to be one my favorite colors lately.....I keep gravitating to it.
Up-cycled farm tables with benches and chairs seem to be a hot item in our neck of the woods
Fun and whimsical decor pieces for the home....vintage apothecary jars and an antique marbleized book
Up-cycled faded and worn vintage Boho shirts.  This is my winter collection and I have been working feverishly on my spring collection...to be presented next week at the Smithfield, Va. Vintage Market.  These have been a hit with my customers and I love making them.  Each one is unique and different.  I have them hanging from an antique hay rake. :)

Spring is gradually making an appearance into the booth.  A collection of tiny "bunny tail" paintings by "moi".....perfect little Easter basket tuck in or sweet gift for a friend

Aren't these pretty?....... my friend made these charming vintage lace covered shades

Love how this old piece turned out.....a vintage Lane cedar chest....painted in pretty chalk paint colors...Linen and Oatmeal I believe,  and upholstered in a script fabric.

I love whimsy and fun unusual pieces and snatch them up whenever I find them.....love this antique rusty car horn
found this vintage bike last Fall and could not wait to bring it in for Spring.....perfect teal, perfect rust....cute little basket.....oh my!  How cute in the garden with the basket planted full of flowers for spring, summer and fall and pine cones for the winter.  :)
I love creating vignettes in the booth, just like in my home.  I have lots of nests for Spring time decorating.  Don't you just love that vintage velvet bunny?
You never know what you will find hanging around in my booth.....one day I hope it's you.  :)

I would love to come and visit Lynn, it's a bit of a haul though. I always love your displays. I personally can't wait for the shows to start soon in this neck of the woods...the show I can't afford to buy anything at...is next weekend. We will go and peruse and drool, LOL.

Thanks for the tour, always enjoyed! Sandi

Great things. You must have a large space. I love that dining set and those bunny tails.

Oh Lynn love your booth! I love that blue color and covered lamp shades have always sold well, Love your shirts, I did jean jackets like that a couple years ago and they were a great hit, have you submitted them to the Stampington Magazine, Altered Couture, I bet you could get published?
