I feel like Christmas cards are another beautiful tradition that computers have ate. There is just nothing like finding hand addressed envelopes in the mail box...sure beats the heck outta bils!

What if Christmas cards become old fashioned and no one sends them. Goodness i would completely lose track of old friends and neighbors. I have only received 3 cards so far, I did spend $25 for stamps......Oh I think I shall fill up that santa glass and have a Mimosa!

Lynn...I so enjoy the tradition ff sitting at my kitchen table on a quiet Saturday night, having a glass of wine and filling out my cards. I, too, get less and less...sometimes I think people are just too busy and that's a shame. I am so touched when I do get a card, that someone took the time to send one.

Your Christmas morning breakfast sounds just perfect and I love this table setting. What a neat idea for a charger! This year I think we will simply have cinnamon rolls...my kids haven't like the last few breakfast casseroles I have made!! And we love our mimosas although I feel like I need a nap after one or two!!

The Santa wine glasses are wonderful! I haven't seen any like them before. I haven't gotten around to Christmas itself yet...have to get through this week with 4 Christmas parties (and required goodies to bring) and a Christmas play at a local pro theater...then I'll tackle it! Youa are so organized! I am impressed!

Oh, I love your choice in Christmas cards and we are getting less every year too! I so enjoy having them come in the mail and the excitement of opening each and every one!
There are those that Christmas cards are the only message we send each other all year and when we don't hear from someone far away, it usually means something happened to them.
I think we are a lost breed, still using snail mail to send greetings during the holidays, but I love doing it so much!
Love your table setting and those santa stems are so sweet.
I have been doing a little something every day and it has been more fun spreading it out than getting it all done at once.

Hi Lynn,
I know I have dreaded sitting down to get my cards written. I dont know why it just seems like I just dont want to write this year. At first I thought it just might be my wrist's but that would be an excuse..I have to do it soon...It will be only Butch and I at the breakfast table and then we are going to Ellen's..We are also going to Ellen's daughters for Christmas Eve. But if Christmas could just be pushed out another week it would be so much easier..The price of a stamp is not my reason it's laziness...
