Queen for a Day

Remember these that I posted just a while back? Well this ol' Momma bird has been busy in her nest just a snippin' and blingin' and having a blast. I call this crown the Vintage Queen Crown. Last time I was in New York I found this gorgeous 1920's wall paper border that had worn to a fabulous shabby pink and green....so that is what I made this crown from. Some feathers, vintage gimp braid, the pink pearl necklace, tiny sweet pink flowers and pretty pink gems finish off the crown. I have a million ideas in my noggin' on future crowns and party hats so stay tuned.

I was a lucky winner of one of those wonderful give-aways going on last week. Georgia of Grandma G's gave away a gorgeous box of See's Chocolates. Man oh man, these confections of pure delight are fabulous. Thank you Georgia! She specializes in vintage linens and has a sweet boutique. Pop over and see all her goodies. Hope you all have a sweet week. xo Lynn

You've been a creative bee! Lovely crown, Lynn! You need to start wearing it!

I love See's. When I am shopping at the mall I often stop in for a little white chocolate bear claw. For energy, you know.
