The Sunny Side of Snowy Days

Happy White Wednesday :) ~ Snow....that four letter word.
(i am early with this post...blogger keeps messing up)
I've seen lots of snow pictures in blogland the past couple of days and I decided not to bore you with more......BUT I couldn't resist after getting out in the white wonderland, now turned into a muddy mess, on Sunday. And besides, they are perfect for White Wednesday. :) Here in central Virginia we aren't used to big snowfalls much less back to back ones and now they are calling for another one this weekend. Heaven help us! .....goodness knows there can't possibly be anymore bread or milk left on the store shelves much less cat food. It seems people buy cat food when they are calling for lots of snow whether they have a cat or not. :) The best thing about this white stuff is I got to wear my new snow/mud/rain boots. Do you like them? Happy White Wednesday and for more wonderful whites just click here.....and thank you to Kathleen of Faded*Charm for this fun day. Now, if you'll excuse me I have to run to the grocery store to buy some important food....like potato chips and dip.

No getting out of this driveway in my car for a while....no treasure hunting for me!

Neither rain, nor snow, nor hail nor sleet....shall keep the mail lady from delivering.....wellllll...maybe not!

Caught this shot of Bobby G. just as snow showers fell from the trees.

Snow Shadows!

If I could, I would climb up there and sit on that branch and watch the animals go by.

Cardinals patiently waiting their turn at the bird feeder.

Petunia, patiently watching the cardinals at the bird feeder. :)

No fishing today!

Ben loves the white stuff!

And remember....... don't eat yellow snow. Until next time......xo

I agree with Lemondrop...I am adoring the winter imagery...my fav however has to be the cardninals :)

Seems so familiar...lol...actually it is snowing right now!

I see our cats have the same favorite past-time :)

Gorgeous! We had part of that beautiful front that swept through your Virginia, but it was a slushy rainy mess within three hours of the final snowflake.

A fresh white snow is so, so beautiful. How wonderful that you have been able to enjoy it.

Keep warm!

Great photos. Love your snowboots -- so perfect for this month of love. Petunia is so pretty sitting there watching those lovely little red cardinals. My kids would love to run around with Ben in the snow. Have a great day. Blessings, Tammy

Great photos. Your black cat watching the cardinals feed is what also entertains us here at Lakewood. I put seed on the deck so our black Kit Kat would be entertained for hours since we are housebound. Cardinals are our most frequent visitors.
Oh...and I LOVE your boots!

LOL! Love your winter white post. All the pics are great, and I sure enjoyed visiting and reading about your Snow Day. Hubby is from Michigan, I'm from the South..Guess who doesn't like for snow to linger long. yeah. Just like to watch it coming down. Don't like the lingering freezing temps!!! My doggies love to frolic in it though and that's fun to watch, and I, too, love to see the pop of Red of the cardinals at my feeders. Winter Cheer!

The snow sure does look pretty and serene, but We all know how suddenly those storms can come upon us and wreak havoc. Although you make it all look so pretty.

Have a great day,

I LOVE to look at pictures of snow, especially yours! They are beautiful! I have to be honest though. As much as I LOVE to look at your snow pictures, I would hate to LIVE in snow! I live in So.Calif for a reason. And btw, LOVE those boots!!
Take care, Sue

Hi Lynn,
All your white snow is beautiful. I know the feeling though except with rain. It's been raining here for weeks and weeks. Have a happy day, hope you get out treasure hunting very soon. Love the photos of your cat and dog, very precious!

They were threating more snow for us this weekend too but that has fizzled now!

Lynn, You have captured some beautiful winter moments. The winter white looks so soft and silent when it can be so harsh and cold.
Very nice.
