Tornadoes & Bunnies

The weather outside was frightful.......with dark and gloomy skies and calls for wind, rain, hail and tornadoes but forecast of foreboding weather could not keep the sisters from having a glorious time. It was like Christmas around here with sweet cord handled pastel bags filled to the brim with frothy papers and pink crinkle Easter grass, fluffy feathered Easter baskets......pink bunnies and sweet smelling lotions, beautiful soaps and chocolate eggs,  gorgeous blooming plants and little lambs, pretty gardening gloves and thoughts of love.  I will let the photos speak for themselves.  Have a wonderful blessed Holy week. xoxo

dark skies can't dampen that gorgeous Spring green

and down it came....hail as big as quarters and rain so heavy you couldn't see

 the smell of Spring.....lilacs....heavenly!

a pink dogwood tree so heavily flowered this year it makes the family room glow pink

Yum Yum!

Yum Yum Yum!  (Pink champagne for Voila French Thursday...grin)

Dining outdoor wasn't meant to be this day :)

Dining Room Spring Theme ~ Sweet White Rabbits and Nested Egg

they came bearing gifts of flowers to plant in the summer garden and brighten the kitchen window sill

Fluffy Baskets and Pink Birds

sweet spring time table ware in a crystal jar

daffodil encased candy cookies and chick topped cupcakes.....sweet treats to end a sweet day

even big girls love soft cuddly stuffed animals

and who doesn't love a beautiful pink Easter Bunny finger adornment??!

My beautiful sisters, moi and Mom in the middle with her bunny.  Isn't she gorgeous for 87?    I can only hope for that someday.

now to hear me tell this story, you would think there are no guys in the picture but rest assured they were there........our heros were glued to the television watching the weather reports unfold, ready to whisk us off to safety if need be.  :)

thank you for taking the time to read this long post and thank you to these bloggers for allowing me to be a part of their parties this week. :)

Hello Lynn,

I am glad that everybody is fine there...We had wicked weather with rain and very strong winds here in Toronto since Friday night.
But instead of hail we got flurries yesterday...well it's Canada, Eh? :o)

Love that lunch setting...hint, hint, hint...Very soon...

What a scary and fun day!! I'm so glad you were OK...I hated seeing that hail on your patio!! Did it mess with your gorgeous blooming trees? We had a hail storm last fall....stones the size of tennis balls. Yep, we got a new roof...and ours was just 5 years old.

OMG..you are so lucky to have so many sisters..and to have your beautiful mother!!! I am jealous, but very happy for all of you.

Your party looks perfect....that menu is amazing!!! I adore copper pennies...and mimosas :) Did they love your hostess gift?

Gotta head to the store and UPS. I'm late getting a swap in the mail....but late is my middle name these days.

Thanks for this great share!
