Pink Saturday in July

Playing in the pool is ever so much fun but puddles are the best!

While the grand-girls were visiting, I know they got so tired of seeing GG (that's me)   :)  with a camera glued to her hands BUT I just couldn't help myself. :)

Today, in honor of 'nothing whatsoever', I would love to have a give-away. A set of Cavallini 11 French style hard wood handled stamps of nests, birds, and cages, all based on antique graphics.  Also comes with a stamp pad and is housed in a gorgeous tin. I'm not telling what the winning criteria is (he he)  but you do need to leave me a comment and if you are not a follower, I would love it if you signed up to be one. (hint hint).  That's it!  Cavallini stamp sets are gorgeous and I know you will love it. (winner announced next Saturday)

Thank you Beverly, our very gracious hostess of How Sweet the Sound, for having Pink Saturday.  If you don't know what this day is all about just click here to be taken to to swoon worthy pinkdom. :)   Have a wonderful weekend.  As always I will be out treasure hunting today. xoxo

Awwww, such adorable little feet and such summer fun in the water! I love to watch my grandchildren play in the water as well. Nowadays, they've outgrown their puddle pool I used to love and have a big above-ground pool, so granny nanny just sits and watches and, like you, snaps LOTS of photos with my easy to use digital camera - in between hiding it from the water drops.

Just signed up to follow so "tossing my hat in the ring" for the contest. Those stamps look like they'd be a lot of fun for the easy stationary crafts for the grand kids and us seniors to enjoy - perfect for upcoming Christmas preparations. Thanks for a lovely Pink Saturday visit. :)

Well, hot dang--slap my fanny and call me Sally! (I'm a Southern girl from a no-stoplight town in KY & I say crazy things like that) I'm THRILLED to have found YOU! Thank you soooo much for your awesomely kind comment on my teeny tiny little blog! I skedaddled right over here and fell in love! (Your granddaughters are absolutely beautiful--my eldest daughter is college age and I know grandbabies are soon in my future and I can't wait!)
What a precious giveaway--beautiful birds, whether in stamped images, ornaments, prints, alive, painted, crafted, etc. are always such beautiful little things. I remember the first time I fell in love with birds--my Mama showed me an Indigo Bunting in the backyard (they weren't normally in my part of KY, but they were migrating, I believe) and I even wrote a real poem about it in college. And there were many trips to the Audobon State Park.....
Anyway....I've rambled enough.
But one last thing: I'm a "picker" and "finder" and "hunter" like you! I've found some amazing inexpensive yet beautiful vintage linens while living in Italy (my husband is a naval officer and we're stationed here until Sept.) and I'm hunting for them at every market, along with other beautiful trinkets. I had a booth back home and am thinking of going Etsy! You're an inspiration!

Hi Lynn! Totally understand the camera glued to your hands as a fellow MiMi, in my case. :) Recently took some of the same similar pics of my Catie Bear as she hosed my posies in the garden. She's 2 1/2 and she just had a blast, and I snapped pics too. I love the stamps/tin, and I did become a follower. :) Stop by to my place after you get done shopping today to find the pink amidst my Tiffany blue today. ;) Merci~

Oh my gooooodnesss.......... I have eyed this stamp set for sooooo long. I have the similar Paris set, but I'm crazy about birds, so I'd get a lot of use out of it... I'm doing a bird themed Christmas this year, and it would be great for tags too. :-)

Aren't grandbabies just the best fun? I wish I had taken a LOT more pictures than I did....And your little tootsies are so precious.

About Virginia... can I divide her? if so is it best to do it in the fall or spring. She's going everywhere with nowhere to go. Sounds like me lately honestly. So many things to do and I'm running out of time ; (
