It's Almost Here

Fretful sleep, upset tummy, jittery.........and heck I am not even the one getting married! :) Things are about as finished as they are going to be around here for the wedding party this coming Saturday. Yes, I got some new shoes to those who asked. (big grin). A pair of Bottega Venetas..... I splurged but figured it was justifiable since I found a fabulous tunic to wear at GW... (bigger grin).

For Pink Saturday and the other fun blog parties this week, I am sharing a bit of the outdoor wedding decor.  I did find some vintage honeycomb wedding bells but decided they were too fragile to use and bought new.  I love honey comb decorations...don't you?  The pink and white impatiens are in their glory and I wanted to keep those instead of replacing with fall flowers, so I decided to make all the pumpkins white (spray painted real pumpkins) and I did a mist of white paint on the corn stalks and added white feathers.  So hopefully, we have autumn and the best of summer together.  I like it!  I will see you next week with photos.  Have a wonderful week. Until then.....xoxo

I hope you will visit these sweet blog parties this week. Always so much inspiration and thanks always to the hostesses. :)

Everything looks lovely so far! And as one wedding planner (ME - the mother of the bride) to another, let me know how things went! What worked, what didn't work, etc. And if you feel like I do sometimes, can't wait until it is over!
Blessings to the newly married couple!

I spotted some black cowboy boots in your shop Lynn. What size are they? I've been looking hard for some nice used ones to wear to "Once Upon a Dream" next mont in Asheville. Can't send them in the mail here to Canada, but might be able to send them to Jeanne's house in N.C. ???? I'm a size 8 wide. I have a damn bunion on top of my left foot that looks like a knuckle, lol. so they would have to be SUPER comfy. ok now on to the wedding.
OMG. Everything looks AMAZING. I can just imagine the work going on for months. I know because of all the work we had to do before the girls arrived. WOW
Have fun and I HOPE the weather holds out for the magical day.

Lynn, this looks like so much fun, and I love what you've done to prepare for the wedding. Can't wait to see everything. Take lots and lots of pics to share.

I just want to thank you for your hug today. I really needed it. I had to go to two meetings at which Adelaide was supposed to be, and it was just killer not having her there. The air was palpable with not only her loss but of Anne, our other friend who died in April. It's the love of other friends that has helped sustain all of us through this year.

Love you...

Hi Lynn,
It is going to be absolutely gorgeous! Love the whisp of white spray paint here and there. I picked up some Christmas honeycomb bells last year at an antique store. I hang them in my bedroom. They so remind of fun childhood Christmas's. Best of luck, congrats to the happy couple.
p.s. Thanks so much for the note about your seeds. I'll e-mail you.
