Bake Sale

 Happy Pink Saturday

I made a little trip recently, up towards the North, with a good blogging friend. I am saving that fabulous time for another post, but for Pink Saturday, (I have missed you all) I wanted to show one place we found. This one building was nothing but a sea of pink vintage gowns. How fabulous is this?

Now you ask, what the heck does that have to do with a Bake Sale.  Well......actually nothing.  I was just trying to get your attention. :)  I am having a give-away today too.  Nothing special to enter.  Just make sure you leave me an email address to get hold of you if you don't have a blog and become a follower if you aren't already. The Give-Away:  we all love an old fashioned bake sale.  This hard bound 216 page cookbook, called 'BAKE SALE', has 100 of the most home-style, scrumptious, yummy, mouth watering sweet recipes.  Toffee Chunk Brownie cookies, S'More Cookie bars, Coconut M&M's Brownies, Pretty in Pink Cupcakes, Banana-Nana Pecan bread, Rich & Gooey Apple-Caramel Cake, .......to name just a few and one I am going to try for Thanksgiving.....White Chocolate Cranberry Tart. The recipes have full color page photos too, so it's a fun cookbook just to look at. Just in time for your holiday season! I'll announce the winner next PS. So talk to me and leave your autograph today.  :)   xoxo  P.S.  I just put up a SALE in my shop for the holiday season.  You can check it out here at The Vintage Nest.

Thank you Beverly of 'How Sweet the Sound', for hosting our wonderful Pink Saturdays and for being a good friend. :)  Have a wonderful weekend.  It's a beautiful crisp sunny Fall weekend here and I will be on the road treasure hunting and putting up a Christmas/Fall tree...yeah!

Fiendishly clever way to get attention - and a fiendishly good book too. I can't think of anyone who wouldn't give their right arm (or their husband's, lol) to get their mitts on this.

Happy Pink Saturday from the UK!

OH YUMMINESS!! That giveaway of yours sounds wonderful....I'm crossing my fingers and my bumpy old toes, hoping I win! :)

What a wonderful vision of pink loveliness, Lynn!! Did you scare others in the store with your shriek when you saw all of that PINK in one sport?

You will be proud of me, Lynn. I spend some time today shopping at a local ant. mall and a sleazy flea market :) ...and I found several items to resell at my Christmas Show the first of Dec. I like vintage santas (including the plastic light up ones...they're very popular here)...and I found some, plus a few other items. Maybe I'll show them on a post this week!

Have a great PS...Hope your sis is doing well! L, Dana

The cook book looks wonderful and I can only imagine the fun recipes inside. Thank you for sharing sweet friend.

Good morning Lynn, Your pink gown find is totally, absolutely and HONESTLY, the best find. I can hear you ooooing and ahhhhing now. So pretty in pink!!!

The cook book sounds deelish! I hope I am lucky.

Beverly told me how you wait to link up and never get to be in the first few. I laughed because I too sit watching the clock ready to pounce and until this week, I have never been in the first few links. Dana is always ahead of me and I had a big thrill out of being 2nd. and ahead of Dana. Silly but fun.

I believe it s a sigh of how happy I am to be 'home' on a Pink Sat. (this never happens) and I can visit to my hearts content.

Happy PS.
Hugs, Jeanne

These are so pretty, these are the kind the movie stars wore. The gowns worn today seem to reveal too much, or am I too old fashion. You always post the nicest things. Hope you have a nice Thanksgiving.
