Cover It With Love
He didn't mean to do it.
Somehow, ink got on the silk and linen headboard. Oops....... What to do??? Using cleaner she uses, he tried to scrub it clean. He scrubbed so hard.... Oops.....now there's a hole in the fabric and an outline from the cleaner. Time to fess up!
Impossible to fix........she covered it with LOVE :)
"Hers & His" happy again ........
Please join these wonderful parties this week. Always something to ooh and aah over.

I "love" your fix and I'm sure your hubby does, too.
Yeah, your a good wifey! I would have said time to go shopping to the thrift shop Hubby.
Very cute post Lynn!!
Have a relaxing night.
PS. Does he sleep on that side? Ha, Ha!
Good job! Before she covered it with love did just a little UGH ooze out? It's hard sometimes, isn't it to just "let it go"? You did good, girlie, really good! xo Diana
I would have been on the floor crying!! You came through with flying colors though!
XO,
Jane
He's KING...your QUEEN,
he MESSES...you CLEAN!!!

Oh it is so sweet, I think it was meant to be! If it ever happens again, hairspray removes ink. I was a nurse for years and always having pens but in my white uniform pocket, not the spray can, the hairspray you can screw the top off a little on a rag and wahla!!
Carol
I've made that very spot on our the headboard. She got over it but I never have. But it's covered and in a loved one's room now.
What a beautiful solution.
Genius!! In a few months you will think it started out like that. My golden chewed my favorite quilt made by my great great grandmother. We mended it and just the other day I noticed it and smiled~

Great solution........but I really enjoyed the thought........"cover it with love"... that "covers" a LOT, doesn't it??
Blessings,

I hope he wasn't in the dog house too long! I love your solution, Lynn! Hugs, Sherry
I have always wanted for things to remain perfect, but after so many mishaps caused by me or someone else, I know I have to embrace the issues that happen. guess we should just chalk it all up to "life happens" is right. Good place for a heart, too, on this headboard, Lynn! I bet the hubs felt so bad.... He really tried, didn't he? :-)
Hugs, Sue
Love heals all wounds, (and head boards!) A sweet and clever fix.
