New Year Decorations & SYS party

I had been fretting with myself on not having taken down our holiday decorations and trees.  Usually I take down everything before the new year for a fresh clean start, but I just couldn't seem to get motivated this time.  Andddddd  I am so glad I waited.  Our first snowfall of the year came this past weekend and it was absolutely beautiful......light and airy and the kind that clings to all the evergreens but not destructive.  Simply making the world a winter white showplace.  My outside fresh greens that had looked so pretty at Christmas, but now wilted and limp, were once again looking so pretty covered in the snow.  I happily snapped a million pictures......and hoping there is a Christmas card somewhere in the batch for 2017....xoxoxo

Wow.....it's our 100th "Share Your Style" party today and all of us here behind the scenes are thrilled.  We have really grown and so appreciate all who join us every week with all their inspiration and creativity.  As a token of our appreciation, we would like to have a fun,  little give-away this week,  randomly choosing a winner from all the party sign-ups this week.  It will be a surprise give-away, but I know you'll love it.   Thanks again for all of you.  Lynn, that's me, of The Vintage Nest blog, is your host this week, so I get to choose the lucky winner.  :)  Before we get the party started, I would love to share with you some of my favorites from last week.  If you were chosen, we would love for you to grab the "feature" button and share on your blog.

I was immediately drawn to Two Twenty One's Chocolate Bar.......such a fun feature to have for the upcoming super bowl game and you can get very fancy with it for the adults, adding different kinds of liqueurs.   So much fun!

Anita, at Cedar Hill Farmhouse, shares with us some tips on transitioning from holiday to winter decor.  I love all her ideas.  In fact, I used one of them, deciding to keep my preserved boxwood wreaths up for the winter.

Krista, of the blog, Happy Housie, did a compilation of her most favorite home make-overs this past year.  I am in love with this room.......thank you Krista for sharing

Okay.....I confess.....I am about to admit one of my obsessions.  :)  I love to watch the Bachelor, Bachelorette, and Paradise.  I can't help it....don't make fun of me.  :)  So when I saw this post by Pink Peppermint Design, I just had to re-share.   This would work just as well for a Valentine's or engagement party too. :)

The Share Your Style team would really appreciate it if you make sure there is a link back to the party in your blog post somewhere and please visit other bloggers for new friendships and interests.

Now let's get this party rolling.
